Yes, and each seller has a different limit because it is based on sales and revenue. If Amazon sees that you are consistently moving inventory, then you can get approved to send in more units (aka you limit increases).
This limit is not on an ASIN-to-ASIN basis but rather your inventory as a whole. For example, if your limit was 1,000 you could buy 500 units of 2 different ASIN’s and be at your limit. OR, you could buy 200 units of 4 ASIN’s and reach your threshold. This provides sellers more flexibility in product selection but be cognizant of how close you are to your limit (always check before placing an order)
To check, go into your seller central select Manage Inventory>Manage FBA Shipments. Then at the bottom if the screen you will see a tab titled “Restock Limits,” click on the tab and you will see how many units you can send in under the “Maximum Shipment quantity.”
