Auto-ungating is the process of just clicking to request approval, and Amazon automatically approves you without needing to provide an invoice or any other documentation. If Amazon does ask for an invoice or other requirements, then right there it shows that you were not auto-approved. So, while auto-ungating does not require an invoice or documents, but it does not work for every seller as it can depend on other factors like selling history, sales volume, reviews and more.
