We suggest you focus on finding suppliers first, then analyze the supplier's available products to find a good product to sell.

If you focus on the product first, you have no way of knowing if you can find a supplier for that product, if that supplier will work with Amazon sellers, or if that supplier will have pricing that is profitable for you. It can seem very overwhelming and like an endless search if you only focus on finding a product first.

Instead, we focus on finding suppliers first, products second. This makes the business much easier and much more efficient because we don't need to search endlessly in a sea of products. Instead, once we find a supplier, we just simply go through their products and find whatever they have that is profitable and looks good. This gives us a point of focus and a clear path to follow and makes it much less overwhelming to find good products. Once you are set up with a good supplier and built a strong relationship with them, it becomes much easier to find products from them that are profitable.
